These marked areas, equipped with dog bowls, will provide a safe and accessible source of food for the estimated 34,000 stray dogs roaming the streets. The initiative aims to curb the problem of stray dogs scavenging for food and reducing the risk of dog-bite incidents, which have become a pressing concern for residents.

The 57 feeding zones will be strategically located in areas with high stray dog populations, ensuring that the animals can access food easily.
